• Rungrado May Day Stadium:

Also known as Kim-11 Sung Stadium, Rungrado is located in Pyongyang North Korea, and is stated as the biggest stadium in the world. It is the world's 12th largest sporting venue. The stadium is multi purpose and has multipurpose facility . The stadium was built in 1989 with it being largely used for sports and national events such as Military parades during National celebration.
The Rungrado stadium resembles a blossomed flower in design; constituting 16 arches arranged within a circle and in 1995 the stadium broke attendance record in recent history when 190,000 fans crammed into the arena to watch a professional wrestling match.
In the late 1990s, a number of North Korean army generals implicated in an assassination attempt on Kim Jong-il were executed via burning in the stadium.
  • Salt Lake Stadium: Salt Lake Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in BidhannagarKolkataWest Bengal, India. It is the largest stadium in India, and the second-largest stadium in the world by capacity.It was built in 1984 and holds an impressive capacity of approximately 120,000 fans.The stadium is currently used for football matches and athletics.The stadium covers an area of 76.40 acres (309,200 m2).The three-tiered terrace facility also plays host as the home ground to four division 1 football teams.










  • Estadio Aztec:

Estadio Azteca is a stadium in Santa Ursula, Mexico City, Mexico. It is the official home stadium of the Mexico national football team and the Mexican club Club América.
The stadium was the venue for football in the 1968 Summer Olympics. It has the honour of being the only stadium in the world to have hosted two FIFA World Cup Finals.In this  two historic world cup finals,  football legends Pele (Brazil versus Italy in 1970) and Maradona (Argentina versus West Germany in 1986) had played in.
Azteca Stadium is the third largest stadium in the world, with a capacity of approximately 114,465 seats.

  •  Bukit Jalil National Stadium:
Bukit Jalil stadiu, located in the National Sports Complex to the south of the capital city of Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur is a 110,000 capacity all-seater of multi-purpose stadium it was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia's Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad on 1 January 1998. National Stadium was built to house the 1998 Commonwealth Games and has since gone on to become the home of the Malaysian football team.
European heavy weights Manchester United played at the stadium as part of their pre-season tour of Asia in front of a sizeable crowd of 40,000. Sir Alex Ferguson’s team went up against a Malaysia XI in the Bukit Jalil, the Red Devils eventually emerging 3-2 victors with Michael Owen scoring a late winner. The stadium is clearly a world class venue and, by hosting the likes of Manchester United and other major European teams, is increasing its global exposure and building on its already impeccable reputation.


  • Camp Nou:

 Since the Camp Nou’s completion in the middle of the twentieth century, FC Barcelona, it’s illustrious tenants, have been at the forefront of European football and has enjoyed serial successes in this magnificent arena. Thirteen league titles, twelve Copa del Rey triumphs and three European Cups during the club’s residency at the Camp Nou have made Barcelona one of the most prestigious club’s in history and a true giant of world football.
FC Barcelona announced plans for the modernization and further expansion of the Camp Nou in celebration of the stadium’s fiftieth anniversary. The stadium will have its capacity increased to over 112,000.

  • The Azadi Stadium:
The Azadi Stadium formerly Aryamehr Stadium is an all-seater football stadium in Tehran, Iran. It was inaugurated on 18 October 1971 and is self-owned by Esteghlal and Persepolis. It is also the home stadium of the Iran national football team. It has a current capacity of 91,623 spectators. The stadium is part of the much larger Azadi Sport Complex, and is surrounded by a rowing river, football training pitches, a weightlifting complex, swimming facilities and indoor volleyball and futsal courts, among many other amenities.
The whole site is highly impressive, and with the stadium at its center, it is a striking example of Iran’s financial power and desire to compete in the world of sport.

  • San Siro:

  • Anfield Stadium:
Anfield is a football stadium in Anfield, Liverpool, England which has a seating capacity of 45,522. It has been the home of Liverpool F.C. since their formation in 1892. It was originally the home of Everton F.C. from 1884 to 1892, when they moved to Goodison Park.The record attendance of 61,905, was set at a match between Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1952. The ground's conversion to an all-seater stadium in 1994 as a result of the Taylor Report greatly reduced its capacity.

Bernabeu  an all-seater football stadium in Madrid, Spain. It was inaugurated on 14 December 1947 and is owned by Real Madrid Club de Fútbol. It has been the stomping ground of many of the world’s greatest players over the years and is currently where Christiano Ronaldo calls home. Its prestige is somewhat overshadowed by the Nou Camp in Barcelona, however the impressiveness of the Bernabeu cannot be underestimated.


  • FNB Stadium:

First National Bank Stadium or simply FNB Stadium, also known as Soccer City and The Calabash, is a stadium located in Nasrec, theSoweto area of Johannesburg, South Africa. It is located next to the South African Football Association headquarters (SAFA House) where both the FIFA offices and the Local Organising Committee for the 2010 FIFA World Cup were housed. Designed as the main association football stadium for the World Cup, the FNB Stadium became the largest stadium in Africa with a capacity of 94,736. However its maximum capacity during the 2010 FIFA World Cup was 84,490 due to reserved seating for the press and other VIPs. The stadium is also known by its nickname "The Calabash" due to its resemblance to the African pot or gourd.
It was the site of Nelson Mandela's first speech in Johannesburg after his release from prison. It was also the site of Chris Hani's funeral.
It was also the venue for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final, which was played by the Netherlands and Spain.
It is a highly impressive structure and added to its location and the sound of the vuvuzelas, it has earned its place in the top 10 world stadiums due to the atmosphere is harbours. It is a sign that Africa as a continent is expanding its influence on football.

  • Old Trafford:
Old Trafford, nicknamed the “Theatre of Dreams”, is the most iconic stadium in English club football. It is situated at Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England, and the home of Manchester United F.C. With a capacity of 75,731,Old Trafford is the second-largest football stadium in the United Kingdom after Wembley, and the ninth-largest in Europe.It has been the home ground of Manchester United since 1910.  The ground underwent several expansions in the 1990s and 2000s, including the addition of extra tiers to the North, West and East Stands, which served to return the ground almost to its original capacity of 80,000. The future expansion can be till 90,000 capacity.
It is also a modern stadium and the centre for all things ‘The Red Devils’, it has become a popular venue for England matches, particularly during the renovations at Wembley.
Getting the chance to play at Old Trafford has long since been the dream of countless young footballers, with only the privileged few being allowed to don the red shirt and take to the grass.

  • Wembley Stadium:

Reopened in 2007 and built on the site of the previous 1923 Wembley Stadium, the New Wembley has quickly become the most iconic football stadium in the world.The stadium hosts major football matches such as the FA Cup Final and home matches of the England national football team.Wembley Stadium is a UEFA category four stadium. With 90,000 seats it is the second largest stadium in Europe. It is owned by The Football Association through their subsidiary Wembley National Stadium Ltd .
It serves as the home of the England National side and is regularly packed out for international matches. As well as this it is the place where football fans from all over the country aspire to go to to cheer on their teams in play off finals or FA Cup finals.
